Solar UV Data Network

New Solar UV Data Network Site at Madison, Wisconsin

The Solar UV Data Network is in the process of expanding data sites involving the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  The first of these sites has been established at the USDA, Forest Service, Forest Products Laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin.  Data is currently being acquired using the Smithsonian SR18 instrument.  A weather station devoted to the acquisition of ancillary weather data will become operational this summer.  For more information on the site, please contact Dr. Jonathan Martin, NIST at 301-975-6707 or by email at: jonathan.martin@nist.gov
