Mechanical Characterization of Polymer Surfaces
Objectives
- To develop advanced measurement techniques for evaluating surface mechanical properties of polymeric
materials as a function of time and loading rate
- To relate material properties to deformation behavior under complex stress states
- To assess the impact of surface deformation on appearance
